Kevin Spacey pleads ‘not guilty’ to charges of sexually assaulting three men

Oscar-winning actor, Kevin Spacey has pleaded not guilty to four sexual assault charges in UK court

US actor, Kevin Spacey Fowler, has plead not guilty to allegations of historic sex offences, paving the way for a trial in London to commence in 2023.

The ‘House of Cards’ actor is accused of five counts in total. These include four of sexual assault, and one of causing a person to engage in penetrative sex without consent.

Police allege the incidents occurred in the UK between March 2005 and April 2013. The charges involve one man who is now in his 40s and two men in their 30s.

Two counts of sexual assault are on a man, now in his 40s, in London in March 2005.

One count of sexual assault on a man, now in his 30s, in London August 2008. Another count is on the same man for causing a person to engage in penetrative sexual activity without consent.

The fourth count of sexual assault is from April 2013 in Gloucestershire, on a third man who is also now in his 30s.

In court, Spacey said ‘not guilty’ as each charge was read out by the judge.

If found guilty of the most serious offence, he is staring down the barrel of life in prison and a hefty fine.

A trial date was set for of June 6. He has been granted unconditional bail.
