Zuckerberg says Facebook plans on launching service like Clubhouse Audio

Facebook is planning to launch several audio products, one of them similar to Clubhouse Audio.

Mark Zuckerberg says the plans include a Clubhouse-style LIVE audio room, alongside a way for users to find and play podcasts.

It follows an explosion in the popularity of audio-based social media interaction, which came to prominence with Clubhouse.

The app has faced a slum in popularity with downloads declining 70% in March. Facebook hopes to take advantage of the platform’s popularity plateau.
