AI threats demand proactive cybersecurity approaches; education, technology, and leadership are essential for resilience in organisations.

As technology advances, businesses face increasing threats from AI-driven risks such as deep fakes and large-scale cyber attacks.

To address these challenges, organisations need a proactive approach involving security, education, and advanced tools like Extended Detection and Response (XDR).

Amit Singh, founder and executive advisor of evince Consulting, discussed the evolving risk landscape.

Singh emphasised that cybersecurity should be viewed as an organisational risk rather than solely an IT issue.

Just as personal health requires a comprehensive approach, organisations must integrate security into every aspect of operations.

He identified three pillars for managing organisational risk: technology, education, and leadership. Technology must counter advanced threats, while education ensures that all stakeholders recognise the risks involved. Leadership is crucial for fostering a culture that prioritises data safeguarding.

With the right budgeting and leadership support, businesses will be better equipped to handle potential threats.
