America’s top infectious diseases expert, Dr Anthony Fauci has had a war of words with conservative Republican Senator, Rand Paul

The exchange occurred during a Senate Health Committee hearing… when Paul pressed Fauci about a number of key public health decisions.

The hearing was set up to evaluate the government’s response to the ongoing challenges faced with the Omicron variant.

Fauci responded, saying this happens all the time… and Paul personally attacks him without a shred of evidence.

This comes after police in Iowa arrested an armed individual before Christamas who claimed he was traveling to Washington to kill Fauci.

Fauci says the accusations made by Paul “kindles the crazies” and leads to events like this one, putting the health and safety of Fauci at risk.
