The late Carrie Fisher has been honoured with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.

This is despite a family dispute which risked overshadowing the entire occasion.

The Hollywood tribute to the late Princess Leia actress was held on May the Fourth – which is also known as Star Wars Day.

A row has erupted between Fisher’s daughter and siblings over recent months.

Her brother and sisters have criticised Billie Lourd for not inviting them, with Lourd accusing them of trying to “capitalise on [her] mother’s death”.

Fisher died in 2016 at the age of 60.

In 2018, Star Wars actor Mark Hamill led calls for his co-star to be given her own tile on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.

Speaking at the ceremony, Hamill said he will “never stop missing” Fisher.
