New Apple app store update leaves users frustrated

Consumers are venting their frustration at tech giant Apple.

The company is under fire over its new App Store Rules.

Under the new changes, subscriptions can auto-renew without the users explicit permission even if the original price of the app has increased.

Prior to the the rule change, users would have to manually opt-in to have a subscription renew itself without a price hike.

Apple says the update is to avoid situations where users lose access to a subscription if they forget to renew subscriptions themselves.
