Tanvi Patel, vice president of Amazon Pharmacy, highlighted the importance of convenient medication access and transparent pricing.

Patients will be able to access medications such as Novo Nordisk’s Wegovy and newer oral GLP-1 options.

Pricing for insured patients starts at $25 per month, while cash-paying patients will see oral drugs starting at $149 monthly.

Injectable treatments, including Wegovy shots and Eli Lilly‘s Zepbound, begin at $299 per month without insurance.

These prices reflect current market trends.

Amazon’s strengths lie in same-day delivery and convenience, leveraging its logistics to enhance medical accessibility.

The company will offer on-demand prescription renewals, priced at $29 for message consultations and $49 for video care.

Plans include expanding same-day delivery to 4,500 cities by the end of 2026.
