The group of 20 from the world’s leading economies pushed for trade and defence ties on the last day of the summit.

Australia’s ambitious trade plans were front and centre by Prime Minister Anthony Albanese… who met with the leaders of the European Union, France, the United Kingdom and India

President Emmanuel Macron says theres still a door open for Australia… despite the dramatic rift between the two countries following Canberra’s shock boycott of the billion-dollar military contract.

G20 leaders took a break from intense meetings and discussions to turn their hands at planting trees and selfies in tropical Bali, the host city of the summit.

Dr Sharyn Davies from Monash University says despite the action, there was a lack of representation of women.

Davies says the host city of Bali shows the world Indonesia should be recognised as a leading economy alongside world superpowers.
