Former President of Brazil Jair Bolsonaro has agreed to a transition of power, but declined to concede defeat

BRAZIL UNREST- This comes on the back of the South American nation electing Lula to the top job over the weekend.

The 77-year-old has defeated Bolsonaro, who has been in the role since 2019.

Tensions arose in the country after Bolsonaro broke with tradition, and failed to acknowledge defeat.

Roadblocks have been set up, and flights from Sao Paulo international Airport were forced to cancel, as key access roads were cut off by protestors.
