An argument with the in-laws turned into murder when An American dad killed his daughter’s boyfriend in the heat of the moment

48 year-old Charles Heaven showed up at his 24-year-old daughter’s apartment while her boyfriend was there.

A short while later an argument broke out between Charles and his daughter’s 30-year-old Boyfriend Keith Smith.

During the argument, the two ended up outside of the apartment building where Charles pulled out a gun and shot the boyfriend in the upper torso.

Deputies were called to the scene and smith was rushed to hospital.

However, not long after the boyfriend died of his injuries.

The dad fled the scene but handed himself in to police a few days later.
