Customers find metal in frozen pizzas

If you’re a fan of frozen pizza you may want to check to your freezer right now

About 13,000 pounds of frozen pizza made by Home Run Inn Frozen Foods is being recalled

Some customers complained of finding metal in the pizza.

The U.S food safety regulator said the pizza’s meat topping “may be contaminated”

The recalled pizzas are Home Run Inn’s Chicago Premium Pizzeria Deluxe Sausage Classic.

The meals were produced back in June with a best-by date of December three this year.

There have been no confirmed reports of injuries or adverse reactions due to consumption of these products.

Regulators are advising that if you have one of the affected pizzas in your freezer, you are are encouraged to throw them away or return them at the point of purchase.
