A digital bank is offering its workers paid leave after pregnancy loss.

Monzo is a UK based challenger bank that will allow either partner affected by a miscarriage, abortion, or stillbirth to take up to two weeks of additional paid leave.

In a statement, the bank says it takes the mental health of its staff “incredibly seriously”

The leave will also be offered to workers who are partners or surrogate mothers, as the bank recognises that pregnancy loss doesn’t just affect women or heterosexual partners.
