What are the “severe economic consequences” if Russia invades Ukraine?

National Security Advisor, Jake Sullivan has delivered fresh warnings to Russia, saying the nation will face “severe economic consequences” if it invades Ukraine

In an interview with “Face the Nation”, Sullivan says if it turns out Russia is targeting Ukraine with cyberattacks, America will respond appropriately.

The Biden administration has been pushing for diplomacy in response to the build up of Russian troops along Ukraine’s border.

Diplomats from Washington and Russia met in Geneva last week… in an attempt to defuse the security crisis involving Ukraine.

But despite all this, Sullivan says the US will not hesitate to take decisive action if required.
