Ukraine’s Border Guard has denied accusations that a military helicopter flew into Belarus

The allegations come as Belarus’ Defence Ministry warrants Ukraine over violations of air space.

Tensions have been heating up between Ukraine and Belarus in recent times, after Russia sided with Belarus’ President during large-scale protests.

Ukraine has accused Russia of preparing for a possible invasion, as Moscow is assembling thousands of troops near its border.

Russia’s President Vladimir Putin is expected to hold a video call with US President Joe Biden to discuss tensions within the region.

Democrat Senator Chris Murphy is calling on Republicans to understand the threat that this poses to the US.
