Communist scandal – Chinese tennis star alleges sexual assault

Published

on

Well-known Chinese tennis star, Peng Shuai’s has accused a former high-ranking Chinese official of sexual assault

In a post on the popular China-based social media platform “WEIBO”, PENG says the former vice-premier forced her to have sexual relations with him.

This allegation has undoubtedly sent shockwaves through Beijing and is the first time such a serious allegation has been made against such a high-ranking figure.

China’s sexual assault laws are difficult to prove, and often do not fall in favour of the victim… meaning a prosecution in this case would be rare.

The post has since been deleted from social media and the former vice-premier has not commented on the allegations.

Meanwhile, searches for the tennis player have also seemingly been restricted.

In the post, PENG says “I will tell the truth about you”… “that afternoon I didn’t give my consent and couldn’t stop crying… you brought me to your house and forced me and you to have relations”.
