Social media giant Twitter experiences technical problem, with the platform experiencing an outage for thousands of users

Social media platform Twitter has suffered an outage, leaving thousands of users without connection.

Users noticed problem with the loading of feeds when using the site on desktop, however the app seems to be working as normal on mobile.

According to Down Detector, reports of issues have been raised by users around the world.

Hundreds of reports were received within a 10 minute window leaving users asking whether Twitter was down.

79% of issues reported seem to be connected to the website. Meanwhile, 15% was linked to the app.

The new shopping capability is powered by GPT-4o and is now live for all ChatGPT users, including those on free plans and even those not logged in. Crucially, OpenAI says no ads, no commissions, and no bias, unlike traditional search engines.

OpenAI is clearly setting its sights on Google, offering a cleaner, user-first alternative to ad-driven results.
