New details emerge over Shane Warne death as autopsy is revealed

Fresh details have emerged in the death of Australian cricket icon, Shane Warne

Thai Authorities have now confirmed the 52-year-old died of natural causes, following an autopsy.

It’s believed his family have been informed of the results and have accepted the findings.

Warne passed away in the early hours of Saturday morning local time, on the island of Koh Samui.

His body will be transferred to Australian consular officials for return to his family in the coming days.

Warne’s family have also accepted a state funeral, which is expected to be held in Melbourne in the coming weeks.

Thai authorities investigated a potential security breach involving the body of the cricketing legend, which was captured on film.

A German woman was able to enter an ambulance carrying Warne’s body and spend over half a minute alone in the vehicle according to the ABC.
