Israel Palestine conflict in Gaza

Israel says its operation against Palestinian militants will continue “with full force” until calm is restored

The death toll in Gaza is at 188, and this figure includes 55 children

It comes as Israel’s military launched an airstrike on the Gaza region in what is the deadliest attack so far.

At least 1,225 have been injured since the beginning of airstrikes on Gaza last week. Israel has reported 10 deaths.

The United Nations is urging the two parties to end this “utterly appalling violence”

It follows the Israeli Defence Force bombing the house of the Hamas’ Gaza leader, and Hamas launching more than 120 rockets into Israel on Sunday alone.

On the same day, Palestinian health authorities say coordinated Israeli airstrikes killed at least 43 people and injured 50 others, most of whom were women and children.

Israel’s Defence Minister says, although his country has no interest in escalation, the military is ready for any scenario.

The United Nations is currently holding emergency talks with international mediators in the hope of reaching a ceasefire agreement.

While X still boasts 550 million monthly active users globally, Threads’ focus on user experience and avoidance of real-time and political content could position it as a formidable competitor moving forward.
