It seems every day EV company Tesla is making news and they’ve made a headline once again

Driving a Tesla has become a dream for so many of us that want to transition to an electric car, but now, in most recent news, the company has been forced to recall 130,000 of them.

The recall is due to a touchscreen fault and is for vehicles in the United States.

The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration says it’s become aware of an overheating issue that may cause the centre touchscreen display to malfunction.

The recall covers Tesla’s Model S and X from the 2021 and 2022 model years.

As well as the Tesla Model 3 and Y from the 2022 model year. 

But like almost every Tesla recall that’s happened in the past – you won’t need to return your car to the dealership.

Instead Tesla will provide an over-the-air software update to resolve the issue.
