Anne Heche’s condition updated

Published

on

Anne Heche “drank vodka” with “wine chasers” during a “Better Together” podcast recording with co-host Heather Duffy.

It was posted just hours before the fiery collision when she crashed her Mini Cooper into a home in Mar Vista, California.

Heche joked that listeners would have to keep their “fingers crossed” that the pair would even be able to make it through the recording together.

53-year-old Heche and the tenant of the home miraculously survived the near-fatal collision, which happened minutes after Heche slammed into a nearby apartment complex.

New footage shows her car speeding down the road after that first crash, moments before plowing into another house.

She sustained burn injuries and was “conscious and breathing” when she was removed from the vehicle and placed on a stretcher.

Condition update

Actor Anne Heche was “stable” in hospital amid a wave of support from fans and fellow stars following an accident in which she drove her car into a Los Angeles home, causing severe burn injuries to herself as well as damaging the house which has become “uninhabitable”.
