Hollywood actor Alec Baldwin to be charged with involuntary manslaughter

In October 2021, Baldwin was rehearsing a scene for the Western film, ‘Rust’.

He fatally shot cinematographer Halyna Hutchins with a prop gun on set in New Mexico.

Baldwin and the film’s armourer, Hannah Reed, will be charged with two counts involuntary manslaughter.

Both face up to 18 months in jail and a $5,000 fine if convicted.

They will be tried by a jury and their lawyers will fight the charges in court.
