In a recent interview, Kanye West revealed that he is still friends with former President Donald Trump.

This admission comes amidst increasing backlash for the “Praise God” rapper, who has been hit with criticism for his controversial “White Lives Matter” stunt and anti-Semitic rants.

According to West, he and Trump “have been friends for 15 years.” The two have maintained a close relationship despite West’s previous criticisms of Trump, including calling him a ” Grinch” who ” STEALS Christmas.” most recently,

West came under fire for donning a MAGA hat and declaring that “abolishing” the 13th amendment would “free” black people. He also caused outrage when he said that slavery was a “choice.”

Trump has yet to public comment on West’s latest remarks. However, he has previously defended the rapper, saying that he is ” very cool” and that he ” get[s] it.” Trump also praised West for his support during the 2016 presidential election.
