Tens of thousands of anti-NATO protestors have filled the streets, demanding France leaves the alliance, amid a growing energy crisis

Chanting “let’s get out of NATO,” the demonstrators took to the streets protesting against the rising cost of living.

Demanding President Emmanuel Macron resign, they criticised his Government for suppling weapons to Ukraine.

The war in Ukraine has caused a sweeping energy crisis across Europe, meaning it’s the everyday people and their back pockets suffering.

In France, petrol prices have soared to new highs, as many workers resort to strikes to send a message to the Government.

Far right leader, Marine Le Pen is clinging onto the anti-NATO sentiment among the French, promising her Government will ease the burden of living.
