Employees at Apple were considering giving Netflix special treatment …

Apparently, to convince the streaming service to keep in-app purchases.

This is according to leaked internal emails during the Epic Games VS Apple lawsuit.

A presentation circulated within Apple to advertise Netflix in its stores and even bundle the streaming service with current apple offerings.

Emails between Microsoft and apple were also revealed today… that show how the xbox maker was trying to get xCloud on iOS.

Microsoft was trying to figure out how Shadow, Netflix, and other similar “interactive” apps were able to exist in the App Store.

Apple takes Epic Games to court over App Store spat

 Video game developer EPIC games will have a chance to plead their case as Apple is taken to court over alleged antitrust practices within the App store.

The outcome of this case is set to shake up the App store as we know it if Epic games were to win. With over six million downloads there’s no doubt that the Fortnite IP is a valuable one that would add to Apple’s online offering at the right price.
