Israel Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu warns of ‘very powerful’ response if Hamas breaks ceasefire promise.

The PM spoke with the US secretary Antony Blinken in a joint conference, thanking the U.S President Joe Biden and Blinken for “firmly supporting Israel’s right of self defence”

“If Hamas breaks the calm and attacks Israel, our response will be very powerful.

“And we have discussed ways of how to work together to prevent Hamas re-arming with weapons and means of aggression,” he said.

Benjamin Netanyahu was speaking with Blinken and gave short statements after meeting during a visit to the region by Joe Biden’s foreign minister.

“If Hamas breaks the calm and attacks Israel, our response will be very powerful.

The Israeli prime minister said.
