Miami Heat’s historic low in Boston loss stuns NBA fans

Published

on

The NBA Playoffs are at the pointy end and both series are turning out to be unusual, this time it was the Miami Heat who broke all kinds of records for the wrong reason

The Boston Celtics levelled the series at 2-2, winning 102-82 at home.

Back in game three Miami scored 39 points in the first quarter, then in game four they scored 11 points.

This is a record, no team has ever scored so few points in the first quarter of a playoff game.

Victor Oladipo was the Heat’s best with 23 points to go with six assists and four rebounds.

Oladipo became the first bench player to outscore his own entire starting lineup (18) since these numbers began being tracked in 1970.

And not to overwhelm you with the stats, but here’s another.

The Heat missed their first 14 field goals attempts. It was the longest drought without a field goal to start any playoff game over the last 25 years.

American home prices are rising at faster pace now than in the last 20-years.

A recent analysis reveals a jaw dropping surge in the cost of American homes.

Since the start of 2020, U.S. home prices have surged 47% easily outstripping the gains seen in recent decades.

On top of that, home price growth so far this decade is on the verge of surpassing all the growth seen in the 2000s.

Many experts believe this decade’s housing market frenzy was ignited by a perfect storm — the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic triggering an unprecedented rush among buyers.

Tom Hutchens, the Executive Vice President of Production at Angel Oak Mortgage Solutions joins Veronica Dudo to discuss.
