Nine NATO members are condemning Russia’s annexation of Ukraine

They’re calling for an end to Russia’s aggression after the so-called referendums of four key territories last week.

Here is what we know at the moment.

Ten children have been killed in a car convoy strike after Russian shelling in the east of the country.

The director-general of Ukraine’s main nuclear power plant has been detained. It’s understood he was taken out of his car and driven to an unknown location.

Russian President Vladimir Putin has submitted the treaties for the four annexed areas.

Meanwhile, the NATO Chief says the liberation in the country’s east is progress that Ukraine is making progress.

Yens Stoltenberg says the number one priority is supporting Ukraine.

Vladimir Putin says the people in these four Ukrainian territories are “our citizens forever”.

He also slammed the west for acts of sabotage, propaganda and says they stand for “satanism”.
