Novak Djokovic has once again proven that he is a mighty force to be reckoned with after winning the Wimbledon Men’s final in four sets

The 34-year old Serbian national now has six Wimbledon trophies to his name. This means he’s now tied with Rodger Federer and Rafael Nadal, with 20 Grand Slam victories.

Djokovic competed against Italian Matteo Berrettini, with the 25-year-old putting forward a massive fighting spirit. However, it was ultimately not enough to topple the world number one.

When asked about his equal Grand Slam ranking with Nadal and Federer, Djokovic laughed saying “it means none of us three will stop”.

He continued, adding “I have to pay great tribute to Rafa and Roger. They are legends of our sport and they are the two most important players I have faced in my career. They are the reason that I am where I am today.”

The final score of the game was 6-7, 6-4, 6-4, 6-3.
