Representatives from major British banks, insurers, and exchanges are expected to receive briefings on the cyber security risks from the Claude Mythos Preview model at a meeting with regulators within two weeks.

Additionally, it was reported that U.S. Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent convened a meeting with major Wall Street banks to discuss the model’s potential cyber risks.

AI startup Anthropic stated that the model is part of “Project Glasswing,” which allows select organizations to use the unreleased Claude Mythos Preview model for defensive cyber security.
