Three people have died after another earthquake struck the nation.

The 6.4 magnitude tremor comes just two weeks after a 7.8-magnitude quake struck the same area, killing more than 44,000 people.

The earthquakes occurred in Turkey’s Hatay province, on the country’s border with Syria.

They were felt in Jordan, Israel and Egypt.

Syria’s state news agency is reporting six people have been injured in from falling debris.

A number of buildings have collapsed, trapping people inside.

Authorities are warning residents to stay away from the coastline, with a tsunami warning now issued. #trending #featured
