The new financial trends FIS Global has noticed

Published

on

FIS is at the heart of the commerce and financial transactions that power the world’s economy. We are passionate about helping businesses and communities thrive by advancing the way the world pays, banks and invests, serving more than 20,000 clients and more than one million merchant locations in over 130 countries.

About the study

Australians have altered how they shop, pay and bank to minimise exposure to the virus. Most significant is the acceleration of digital-based transactions, even among members of the most change-resistant generation.

FIS partnered with IPSOS to survey 1,001 Australian adults, 18 – 74 years old, in June 2021.

The study’s purpose is to discover how the pandemic has affected consumers’ finances, how their behaviours have changed and what changes consumers believe most likely to endure.
