‘Saturday Night Live’ mocks Donald Trump indictment saga

The comedy show took aim at the former President, saying he’d be putting out an album to raise costs for his court case.

Former U.S. President Donald Trump is expected to appear in court this week, but first an appearance on prime time television.

‘Saturday Night Live’ featured comedian James Austin Johnson as an indicted former President Donald Trump.

Johnson as Trump joked he’d be putting out an album of 30 classic covers to raise money from supporters called, ‘Now That’s What I Call My Legal Defense Fund’.

‘Justice For All’ is an actual single released by a choir of men who are in prison for their participation in the attack on the U.S. Capitol on January 6, 2021

The skit features a series of cameos by other cast members portraying artists and known Trump supporters with duets on the fictional album.

Trump is expected to appear in court Tuesday afternoon.

Johnson reminded viewers of the fact, closing out the skit by saying: “Manhattan, I’ll see you on Tuesday. We’ll be wild.”
