Unrecognisable photos of North Korea’s leader Kim Jong-Un have been released, a contrast to the dictator seen today

The country’s state media revealed images of the dictator as a teenager during a documentary on Kim’s mentor.

Pictured here is the North Korean leader in his early teens holding hands with Army Marshal and mentor Hyon Chol-hae.

And another in his older years.

The documentary called “Closest to the Sun” describes the close relationship between the two and Kim’s involvement in Hyon’s heart treatment between 2017 and 2021.

According to the film Hyong suffered from chronic heart disease and heart failure with Kim giving detailed medical instructions to the doctors treating him.

Kim’s adviser died last month after being in hospital for a long time.
