Prince Andrew agrees to give statement under oath

As Prince Andrew’s case heats up, the British royal has agreed to provide lawyers with a statement under oath

This will be given in the United Kingdom as part of civil proceedings against the prince.

Virginia Giuffre alleges she was trafficked by disgraced financier and socialite, Jeffery Epstein, with Epstein forcing the then-young girl to perform sexual acts on Andrew.

Lawyers representing both Giuffre and Andrew will engage in a deposition before the case goes to trial, all in an attempt to settle.

The proceedings were brought against the prince under New York’s updated Child Victims Act.

Andrew has until late July to answer questions about the matter under oath, and if it is not settled, a court date will be set for late 2022.
