The U.S. is warning North Korean workers are trying to find IT jobs by hiding their identities
The U.S. believes workers are seeking to steal money for their home country.
Many of them are allegedly pretending to be from other parts of Asia, according to three U.S. agencies.
The State Department says thousands of highly skilled IT workers are sent around the world to generate revenue to help with North Korea’s weapons production.
If North Korea is employing workers to fund its missiles program, the move would be in violation of U.N. international sanctions.
“The United States is committed to disrupting illicit DPRK revenue-generating activities, which may facilitate criminal activity, provide direct support to the DPRK’s unlawful weapons of mass destruction and ballistic missile programs, and threaten international peace and security,” the U.S. State Department said in a statement.
The country has conducted several missile tests in recent months, including a banned intercontinental ballistic missile.

Elon Musk secretly welcomed twins just weeks before his second child with Grimes was born last year
The world’s wealthiest man, Elon Musk is believe to have fathered 10 children after a top executive from one of his companies gave birth to twins last year.
The mother of the children is Shivon Zilis, a senior member of Musks’ artificial intelligence company, Neuralink.
Zilis is considered a rising star in the world of AI, after being listed on Forbes’ 30 Under 30 in 2015, and LinkedIn’s 35 under 35.
According to her LinkedIn, she is currently the Director of Operations and Special Projects at Musk’s neurotechnology firm, Neuralink.

Apple’s ‘Lockdown Mode’ to target hackers
Apple is set to release a new ‘Lockdown Mode’ feature, which will add protections for people targeted by hackers
Apple is seeking to stamp out iPhone hacking by giving vulnerable targets the chance to ‘lock out’ suspicious links or activity.
The feature is a major win for human rights advocates, political activists and other prominent figures.
It will work in conjunction with the ‘Messages’ app by stamping out any unknown links.
The company says it “is an extreme, optional protection for the very small number of users who face grave, targeted threats to their digital security”.
It comes after two Israeli two firms were able to break into iPhones without the target clicking on any links.
The attacks were reportedly carried out by the NSO Group, which is behind the controversial Pegasus Spyware.
The group has been placed on a U.S. blacklist.
The ‘Lockdown’ feature will come to Apple’s iPhones, iPads and Macs in the coming months.
Emirates A380 “flew 14 hours” with massive hole
At first passengers believed the plane suffered difficulties upon landing in Brisbane, but now it seems the Emirates A380 flew 14 hours with the massive hole
Passengers disembarked the airline after noticing the sound of an explosion mid-flight.
They had alerted crew during the flight, who were in contact with the flight crew.
One of the passengers on board has since taken to Twitter to describe the “terrifying” incident, which took place “during cruise.”
“Was absolutely terrifying at first and the cabin crew knew something serious may have happened – were immediately in contact with the cockpit,” wrote Andrew Morris, an English professor at the UK’s Loughborough University.
“Shortly after, they resumed as normal. Their calm demeanor was reassuring — they knew it was not catastrophic.”
But no one knew exactly how long the plane was airborne with the massive hole in the side.
The captain telegraphed ahead to Brisbane airport, and emergency services met the aircraft, which landed safely.
As passengers disembarked, they were shocked to see the size of the hole, which had been punctured by the landing gear.
Emirates later released a statement stressing that the rupture did not impact “the fuselage, frame or structure of the aircraft.”
“Our flight EK430 flying from Dubai to Brisbane on July 1 experienced a technical fault,” reads the statement.
“One of the aircraft’s 22 tires ruptured during cruise, causing damage to a small portion of the aerodynamic fairing, which is an outer panel or the skin of the aircraft.”
“The fairing has been completely replaced, checked and cleared by engineers, Airbus and all relevant authorities,” adds Emirates.
“The safety of our passengers and crew has always been our top priority.”
