All passengers at Terminal 1 at Melbourne Airport are currently being re-screened.

All passengers who had already boarded their plane were forced to evacuate and start from scratch.

Reports suggest there was an error at the screening point.

Some passengers tweeting that someone slipped through the security area without being screened.
