As the January 6 investigation continues, Republican Representative Jim Jordan says he won’t cooperate

Jordan is a top congressional ally of former President Donald Trump and has been asked to meet with the House select committee.

In a four page letter of response to the request, he outlines his grievances with the panel and its request.

Jordan believes he has “no relevant information that would assist the Select Committee in advancing any legitimate legislative purpose.”

However, the Republican has been previously identified as someone who has relevant information for the committee’s probe into the insurrection.

Meanwhile, Representative Elaine Luria says it’s not up to Jordan to decide whether or not he’s an important piece of the puzzle..
