The son of U.S. President Joe Biden will plead guilty to tax crimes but reaches a deal on a gun crime

Hunter Biden has agreed to plead guilty to two misdemeanor charges of willfully failing to pay income taxes.

He will enter an agreement, which may avert a conviction on a gun-related charge.

Hunter, who is U.S. President Joe Biden’s second son, has worked as a lobbyist and consultant to foreign companies.

President Biden is in the middle of a re-election campaign, which may see another race against his predecessor Donald Trump.

At the time, President Trump asked Chinese and Ukrainian authorities to investigate Hunter Biden’s activities in their countries.

Court filings show Hunter Biden received taxable income of more than $1.5 million in 2017 and in 2018.

However, he did not pay income tax during that time.

Hunter Biden is also charged with unlawfully owning a firearm in October 2018.

It is understood he entered a pretrial diversion agreement, which allows defendants to avoid a criminal conviction.
