The woman who wrote an essay titled “How to murder your husband”, has been sentenced to life in prison for killing her late spouse

An Oregon judge has sentenced Nancy Crampton Brophy to life in prison for her husband’s death.

The romance author was found guilty of second degree murder last month. It’s understood she gunned down Daniel Brophy for a USD 1.5 million life insurance pay-out.

Before her crime, the 71-year-old had published a series of novels like “The Wrong Husband” and “The Wrong Lover”.

Her late husband was a chef and teacher at the Oregon Culinary Institute.

He was found shot twice in his own workplace in June 2018.
