A report urges Brazilian authorities to imprison Jair Bolsonaro over his management of COVID-19

Brazil’s President is under fire for his handling of the coronavirus pandemic, The New York Times reports.

A Brazilian congressional panel is recommending mass homocide charges against the President, claiming he intentionally allowed the spread of covid, killing hundreds of thousands of people.

The report from the investigation also recommends criminal charges for 69 other people including some of his family and former government officials.

The 1,200 page report blames the president’s policies for the death of over 300,000 Brazilians and encourages the country’s authorities to imprison him.
