British news network, BBC has been blocked in Russia as the Kremlin retaliates to the latest round of sanctions that have come from the United Kingdom.

Th news follows RT America ceasing its production and laying off most staff.

RT America is a part of the global Russia Today network that’s funded by the Russian Government.

Earlier on Thursday, UK culture Secretary addressed parliament, pleading for TikTok, Twitter, and Meta to block the online output of Russian-backed news platforms.
