Australia has been confirmed as the host of the 2027 men’s and 2029 women’s Rugby World Cups.

It will be the first time that the country has hosted a Rugby World Cup match since 2003.

The tournament is set to generate over $1.5 billion for the nation’s economy, and attract over 200,000 international visitors.

None of the previous nine editions of the women’s tournament have been held in Australia.
