The actors’ union SAG-AFTRA has been in talks with major game studios for over 18 months.
Studios include Activision Blizzard, Electronic Arts (EA), and Disney Character Voices. The negotiations failed to reach an agreement.
As a result, the voice actors and performers voted 98.32% in favour of a strike. Their main concern is securing AI protections, which the studios are not willing to provide.
