How do I receive my interview?

Purchase a clip licence before or after your interview to receive a professionally produced, downloadable MP4 with usage rights.

If you pre-purchase, your selected clip and distribution package is already arranged for delivery after recording. If you choose Share + feature or Feature + amplify, you’ll also receive the additional assets and distribution included in that package.

If you haven’t selected a package yet, you can complete your interview first and decide afterward.

Why does Ticker offer content licensing?

Ticker doesn’t charge viewers to watch its content and doesn’t rely on advertising alone. Clip licensing helps fund our independent journalism and production while giving guests a professionally produced television interview they can use across LinkedIn, websites, presentations and social media.

Licensing is separate from the interview booking. You can pre-purchase a package for a simple, ready-to-go experience after recording, or decide after the interview.

Does my clip choice affect my booking?

No. Your interview is booked once you select a Calendly time and submit the guest details form. Choosing a package — or selecting “I’ll decide after the interview — no prepayment” — does not affect your booking.

What’s included with a licensed interview?

Licensed interviews include a professionally produced MP4 video cleared for reuse. Depending on the package selected, this may also include extended replay on Ticker, featured articles, photography, or additional distribution.

What can I do with a licensed video?

Once licensed, you’re free to use your interview to:

• Share on your website, LinkedIn, YouTube and other social platforms
• Include in marketing campaigns, media kits or investor materials
• Use in presentations, events and showreels
• Showcase your appearance on television with full usage rights

Can I edit the video?

Yes. You may create shorter clips or highlights, provided edits do not alter the meaning, context, or editorial integrity of the interview.

Can I screen record the broadcast?

No. Screen recording or reposting broadcast footage breaches our copyright policy and reduces content quality. Your licensed MP4 is professionally mastered and cleared for reuse.

Do I need to purchase a licence?

You don’t need to purchase a licence to book or take part in an interview. A licence is required only if you want to receive, publish or share Ticker’s interview content on your own channels.

You can purchase before recording or decide afterward. Without a licence, your interview can still be broadcast by Ticker, but you won’t receive a copy or the rights to reuse Ticker’s footage.

Can I use a licensed interview for advertising?

You may amplify and promote your licensed interview across your own channels. However, the license does not permit:

• Editing that misrepresents the discussion
• Presenting the interview as an endorsement by Ticker

Can Ticker make edits or changes on my behalf?

To protect editorial independence, we do not revise interviews after recording. However, Ticker Studios offers separate content production services for partner brands and commercial projects.

Can I become a regular guest on Ticker?

Ticker works with a small number of regular contributors across specialist topics. These guests are positioned as industry leaders and may choose to license interviews for ongoing use. To enquire, email partnerships@tickernews.co with a short overview of your expertise.
