One of the world’s biggest criminal marketplaces used by online fraudsters has been shut down in a global law enforcement crackdown.

Genesis Market sold login details and personal information for as little as $1.

This allowed people to gain access to banking details and do shopping online.

Seventeen law enforcement agencies around the world were part of the co-ordinated raids, including from the U.S., U.K., the Netherlands and Australian Federal Police.

One hundred and twenty people were arrested, as a part of ‘Operation Cookie Monster’, after worldwide searches were executed.
