Olivia Newton-John’s final recording released

Olivia Newton-John’s final recording has been released  by Dolly Parton, on her behalf

The two music legends teamed up to record the song shortly before Dame Newton-John died of breast cancer last year.

It was the last song the ‘Grease’ actress recorded before her death at age 73.

Dolly told HELLO magazine this song for her new album was her last memory with the Australian icon.

“I cannot wait to hear that album and Olivia may you rest in peace. You left a spot that one else will ever fill,” Parton said.

Newton-John’s husband says her late partner’s legacy would live on via this song.

A “celebration of life” state memorial will be held for Olivia this Sunday at the Arts Centre in Melbourne, Australia.
