The 40-year-old has been found guilty of six counts of first-degree intentional homicide

Darrell Brooks, the man who drove an SUV into the Waukesha Christmas parade—has been found guilty of six counts of first-degree intentional homicide on Wednesday for driving his SUV into a crowd of Christmas parade attendees.

The fatal incident took place in Waukesha, Wisconsin, last November, killing six people and wounding dozens of others.

During the trial, the 40-year-old represented himself in court and was combative throughout the proceedings. The judge even had him removed from the courtroom due to his outbursts.

Additionally, Brooks, was convicted of 61 counts of recklessly endangering safety with the use of a dangerous weapon, six counts of fatal hit and run, two counts of felony bail jumping and one count of misdemeanor domestic battery.

For the convictions, Brooks faces a mandatory sentence of life in prison.
