The UFC and WWE are merging to create an entertainment company.
World Wrestling Entertainment and Endeavour Group Holdings are combining, in a move worth $21 billion.
Endeavour will take a 51 per cent stake in WWE, which is currently run by Vince McMahon.
McMahon will stay on with the company he helped to create.
The merged entity will see a focus shift towards maximising shared media rights.
McMahon reveals why the time to let go, is now.
“It’s the right time,” McMahon says. “With the synergies available, it was the right move.”
