Republican Senators in the US are still divided over whether they would support a 2024 run for office by former President Donald Trump.

Trump has been laying low since he was ousted from office after one term back in January, which led to riots at the US Capitol building.

Former president Donald Trump said this week he is “very seriously” considering another presidential campaign in 2024, and oddsmakers put the chances that he will run again at about 50-50.

“I am looking at it very seriously, beyond seriously,” Trump told Sean Hannity on Fox News. “From a legal standpoint, I don’t want to really talk about it yet, it’s a little too soon.”

But now one senator was asked the question on American TV.
