The flying car has long been held as the ideal vision of the future.

But could Brisbane be the first Australian city to have its own fleet of air taxis in time for the 2032 Olympics?

Brisbane will become the third Australian city to host the Olympic games in 2032.

And along with the massive infrastructure boost the city will get, it might also be getting its own fleet of air taxis.

Skyportz is hoping to build an air taxi hub, or vertiport near the city in two years.

Clem Newton-Brown says the industry is growing in maturity and will soon become a reality around the globe.
